The rooftop terrace offers impressive views, perfect for unwinding after a day of navigating the city. The rooms have a unique charm but can feel a bit cramped due to limited natural light from small windows.
The shuttle service isn't really free like advertised. you end up paying a hefty sum compared to local prices. The bathroom facilities weren't up to standard, with issues like a sewage smell thanks to poorly maintained drains and unclean grout in the shower. Noise can be a problem, especially from kids and the late-night call to prayer, which can disrupt your rest. a surprise charge for an extra breakfast at checkout left a sour taste, especially with leftovers piling up from oversized portions.

Warm hospitality in a hidden gem
The Riad Gzira Fez is a cozy haven with a beautiful ambiance. Our host Abdul made us feel like family, and his wife's Moroccan dinners were authentic and delicious! The rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the medina, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. Waking up to traditional Moroccan mint tea was a delightful touch.
The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired, and the lack of ventilation made the rooms feel a bit stuffy. navigating the winding streets of the medina to find the riad can be challenging for first-time visitors. I recommend downloading Google Maps for assistance.

We had a lovely time, but the showers clogged heaps, and a bit less light in the room would have been better. The vibe from the staff was sweet as!

It was just a suitable option for a short interlude in Fes with good price-quality ratio. The staff consistently made sure we had plenty of hot tea, which added a nice touch to our stay. Make sure to check the location in advance. the medina can be tricky to navigate at night.
